OpenOffice.org lacks simple, end user friendly, extensions manager. You probably know the Firefox browser and you probably know the Firefox's extensions manager too. Nice, very easy tool. We are planning to develop one for the OpenOffice.org office suite.

For the beginning, here is the list of planned features:

• unlimited number of extensions repositories,
• you can install an extensions for all users or current user only,
• automatic update of installed extensions (optional),
• categorized list of available extensions,
• availability of commercial extensions - you must authorize yourself before you can download and install selected extension (a whole
• repository or an extension protection),

This tool will be distributed as an UNO package and as a standalone tool. Repository manager will be available too.

No to czekamy na ów dziw. Pomysł zaskakujący i ciekawy. Tylko czy to się przyjmie? W Chwili obecnej mam mase rozszerzeń, które dają mi funkcjonalność Opery, mam nadzieję, że nie dojdzie do stanu kiedy będę musiał instalować naście rozszerzeń aby mieć funkcjonalnośc MS Office'a
